Working Step by Step towards sustainability
About Me

I have been working towards building an EcoVillage for over a year now with my partner Ricardo. Our dream is to build a EcoVillage that is sustainable in every facet and runs like a small town or community. With a business to supply jobs and a nonprofit organzation that works with locals, nature, conversavancy project, free energy programs, and oversee the lifestyle of the community.

In today's world we are bogged down with overhead of mortgages, utility bills, grocery bills and such that much of our lives we live off our our credit. What is you didn't have a mortagage, your energy was free due to solar or wind power, and you lived in a community the grows food. How much money could you have for other enjoyments of life?

We are in the start up stage of building this dream and have some members already on board. It's all a gradual process but the overall goal is worth it in the end. Why not leave our children a legacy instead of a mess to clean up in the future.

My Ideas and Dreams about Eco-Village Living

The reason and goal for this project is to create a place where people live, work, volunteer, and are an integral part of the community as a whole. Where people seek to engage in projects that enhance the way they currently live and benefit our Earth; a place where each residence in the community is hand-built by neighbors and volunteers, and everyone works for the common goal of unity and peace. This project is non-religious and non-political. When working together we need to overcome the idea that one way is the only right way; the overall idea is to build, learn, and grow together.

The primary objective then, is to build an EcoVillage that is self-sufficient in its demands for water, energy, food, construction, fuel, and communications.  A community built on principles of permaculture and sustainable methods for the use of resources, the production of food, and the management of waste.

The project currently is designed for development on a 350-acre spread in the foothills of the Sierra la Laguna, in Baja California Sur, Mexico.  This property presents many advantages for a project such as this, as outlined in the Location page of this website.
